Contessa Albino was born on 3rd January 1954 in Marcheno Val Trompia (Brescia) and began to engrave at the age of 13 as apprentice by the artisan Mr. Silvano Fausti. On 1973 he began to work on his own and at the same time he attended at the School of Arts in Sarezzo (Brescia). During the following years he studied the different engraving tecniques in detail and worked with several engravers such as Iora and Fracassi. At present he is able to carry out in his workskop any work the clients require with the help of his daughter Giorgia (qualified at the "Liceo " specializing in art subjects in Sarezzo - Brescia) and his nephew Aron Castelli. He is been collaborating for years with firms such as F.lli Rizzini di Magno di Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia) and F.lli Piotti di Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia)
