CQ CQ CQ from IW1DTU calling on OSCAR 40....... My main interests are on Weather Satellite Pictures and Satellite Communications. I built, with the help of my friend Roberto Fontana I1BAB, my first APT station in 1978 receiving and decoding pictures from TIROS-N with the help of a modified TV set. In 1994 I became member of RIG (Remote Imaging Group) and I support new birds through Amsat-UK. Now I receive HRPT, APT, WEFAX, SSTV and Meteosat 8 second generation MSG DVB (EumetCast). I was active on AO-40 S-band transponder and now on FO-29, VO-52 and AO-51 mode L/S. I love LEO and Supertrak by Freddy ON6UG help me keeping the antennas well pointed to the birds. Sometimes I am active in ATV mode on IR1UCH repeater
