This is the second and last album Blind Melon recorded and released as a band. It's a really eclectic record, where the neo-hippie habits are utterly overflowed by a lot of different styles (e.g. :the bluegrass mood of "Skinned"). This one was a commercial flop, especially if compared to the 4 million copies sold by the debut album, selling something around 250,000 copies. There ain't No rain-like tracks , it's more experimental , and, in my opinion, Blind Melon were already seen as one-hit-wonders , at the time. People just didn't care anymore.In addition, Shannon died 2 months after the release. But it wasn't like Kurt Cobain's death. Here, neither newspaper nor television gave two shits about it.

D'you know? Some genius at Capitol Records has put Soup "out of print" . This means that's only available in Internet (for sometime) or in UK .That's a crap. Nico and BM are not out of print. So people who 'd buy and like those are not supposed to possibly want this one? What a crap!
